Welcome to LABIStrain.com!I, a retired DoD weapons testing engineer, WWII Vet, with three patents, became interested in high speed rail in the ‘60’s. I joined the High-Speed Rail Association (HSRA) and followed developments in the field, refining my approach to a solution. Then, in 1984, I incorporated Lashley Advanced Bi-Rail Systems (LABIS) to promote and develop a concept for a rail system to be built using available technology, offering safe, low-fare, two-hundred mph SCHEDULE speeds, much lower environmental impact than existing or experimental systems, will pick-up/drop passengers without stopping, and will be built, maintained and operated at lower costs than existing systems.
